CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS

You must be present for the entire course to receive NCBTMB Continuing Education credits – partial course hours are not offered. Any hours missed in class will need to be made up with the instructor, at their hourly rate. Any post-class support materials such as videos will not be provided until the hours are made up.

The words “Certified” and “Certification” can get confusing in our industry. All attendees of class will be emailed a PDF diploma showing the number of Continuing Education hours/credits they earned, with the date, location and instructor of the class they attended documented.  This diploma serves as proof of training as well as a CE Transcript, useful for submitting to state massage and association boards for renewals – and it’s also a very attractive acknowledgment of your achievements in training that can be framed and hung on a wall!

Cancellation Policies

*Special circumstances may apply.

Understanding these policies is crucial for planning your educational journey with us. We are committed to maintaining transparency and fairness in all our financial dealings, ensuring that our students have a clear understanding of their financial commitments and options.

7 day cancellation required

Sometimes things happen unexpectedly in life, and it may be necessary for you to miss the class(es) for which you registered. Unfortunately, since cancellations on or near the day of the class do not give us time to fill the vacated seat, the following cancellation policies will apply.

Refunds: Withdrawal SEVEN days or more, prior to the class= 100% refund or credit to another continuing education class. A 50% refund will be given to any cancellation 6 days to 48 hours prior to start time. Should a student not fulfill their payment agreement their deposit will not be refunded.

Class Cancellation: In the event the instructor cancels a class for any reason, registrants will be entitled to a 100% refund. It is at the instructor’s discretion to cancel a class, and the student will receive a 100% refund. This may happen should there not be enough interest – class minimum is 4 students, or 6 for offsite/travel classes. If transportation to a class involves a ticket purchase, it is recommended that you contact the instructor to confirm the class has enough participants before you make your travel purchase. Classes are not guaranteed to happen – as class minimums, pandemics, and life events may interfere.

No Shows and Late Arrivals: In the event a registrant does not show to class or cancels less than 48 hours prior to start time, the instructor will retain 100% of the class fee. Registrants who arrive to class 30 minutes late or more will not be admitted to class and you will need to register for a later class.

All Other Cancellations: Deposits may be transferred to another attendee.

Any expenses incurred by the registrant that involve travel, accommodations or other expenses related to attending a class, is the sole responsibility of the registrant. If transportation to a class involves a ticket purchase, it is recommended that you contact the instructor to confirm the class has enough participants before you make your travel purchase.

DEADLINES FOR STUDENTS RESCHEDULING THEIR TRAINING DATES

7 days prior to class start date: No fee or penalty. If you need to move to another class date or location for any reason, your deposit will be applied to another class. You will need to reschedule yourself and attend a class within 18 months from the date you originally made a payment. All unused funds expire after 18 months of purchase.

Liability Limitations

Instructors are not responsible for any bodily injury or loss, or damage of personal property suffered by participants. Participants are responsible for securing and maintaining their own professional liability insurance.
